Absences

If your child is absent, please call the school at 925-685-3533 or 925-682-8000 ext. 4750 on the first day and if he/she is out for multiple days please call or send a written note when the child returns. You may also email Pam Filstrup at filstrupp@mdusd.org. In the note/email please include the absence dates and the reason why your child could not attend school. Please do not ask the bus driver to report the absence. If you know in advance that your child is to be absent please call the school. Also, notify transportation at 682-8000, ext. 3710. You may notify your teacher as well; however, please follow school protocol by informing the office first.
